"Volunteer medical first aid is not something that can be taken for granted. We are very pleased that the Muehltal community has its first responders and are happy to contribute to medical first aid with our donation of 3,000 Euros," emphasizes Michael Daniel, CEO of the Muehltal-based mechanical engineering company. Dr. Arne Brüsch, former DATRON CEO and main shareholder, has been an active supporter of the Traisa first responders from the very beginning and adds: "This project regularly saves lives, and more than 55 missions so far in 2024 speak for themselves. That's why we were also delighted to privately support the new first responder vehicle with an additional 1,000 Euros."
The Muehltal first responders, a first responder group of the Nieder-Ramstadt/Traisa local German red Cross association, provide life-saving first aid on a voluntary basis and bridge the time until the arrival of the rescue service or emergency doctor. They are an important part of the local rescue chain and also look after relatives at the scene.
The work of the first responders is financed exclusively by donations, which are used for protective clothing, emergency vehicles, fuel and necessary equipment. Since their foundation in 2019, the first responders have already provided first aid in emergencies 466 times. In 2023, the 10-strong team of First Responders Nieder-Ramstadt/Traisa, led by Marco Reibold, responded to over 120 emergencies, impressively demonstrating its important role in the community.
The donor companies are proud to contribute to the safety and health of the citizens of Muehltal by supporting the valuable commitment of the Mühltal first responders.
