The area of Mobile Data Entry (MDE) plays a crucial role in these modernization processes. MDE registers the data of the goods where the data originates: at the storage, the sales area, the loading ramp or in the field. As an exclusive sales specialist for innovative MDE devices in Europe, TTID has decades of experience in selling and promoting MDEs manufactured by DENSO WAVE.
The DENSO MDE devices allow barcode reading in almost any environment and have been successfully used in retail, logistics, storage, production, as well as field and sales force automation. The huge international interest for two-dimensional barcodes - especially the QR-Code (Quick Response Code) developed by DENSO - becomes apparent with the spread of the QR-Code in various market segments such as logistics, warehousing, retail and healthcare.
With the introduction of the new Windows models, Windows Embedded Compact 7, DENSO and TTID are able to continue to build on their successes. At the same time, TTID is setting new standards by bringing two versions of the BHT-1300 series to market: the 1D- and 2D-model, equipped with Windows or DENSO-OS, the operating system especially developed by DENSO WAVE.
Dirk Gelbrich, Team Leader Technical Services Auto ID, is enthusiastic about both operating systems: "The new Windows Embedded Compact 7-System gives our customers the newest State-of-the-Art Technology while the alternative DENSO-OS is highly reliable, has existed for over 20 years and is optimized for MDE devices."
Both devices impress with their excellent scan- and reading-system. The codes are transmitted promptly by high-speed wireless communication to the advanced built-in OS. An additional advantage of the new model is the perfect marriage of functionality and ergonomic design. The dome-shaped keys can be operated easily by workers wearing gloves. Furthermore, a wide viewing angle enhances visibility from all directions, even in bright sunlight. On the other hand, the highly visible LCD "High-Bright-Display" ensures clear and easy readability in dark warehouses.
With an overall weight of 188 gram, the BHT-1300 is more than 15 percent thinner, lighter and smaller compared to previous models. The BHT-1300's proprietary power-saving design allows a 28-hour consecutive operation, the longest in its class. Gelbrich points out the extreme long durability period and the user-friendly compact handling of the new device: "The BHT-1300 is extremely solid and robust. Like all DENSO-handheld terminals, it is classified with IP-protection-class 54 and therefore protected against dust and water. Even temperatures between -20°C up to +50°C cannot harm the device. The terminal's robust durability ensures accurate and reliable usage in tough working environments."
