The WAECO specialists have now closed that last gap in the refrigeration chain. Incorporating a high-performance rechargeable battery, the new CoolFreeze CF-32UP compressor cooler makes do without any external power supply. Like all other models in the CoolFreeze series, it provides refrigeration and deep-freezing up to
-18°C.
The battery is simply charged from the 12- or 24-volt battery of the yacht, motorhome or car and then switched on as required. It can also be recharged from a mains socket. A matching mains adapter is available as optional extra. Self-explaining status indicators for the battery and the cooler add extra comfort and convenience far away from civilisation.
With a capacity of about 31 litres, the WAECO CoolFreeze CF-32UP is absolutely fit for everyday use. Naturally, it provides all the well-known comfort details and technical features of the CoolFreeze series: CF special electronics with soft start and turbo cooler, an interior light, ergonomically shaped recessed grips and add-on carrying handles, plus a detachable fold-up lid. All the smart CoolFreeze accessories, such as fixing kits, hard-wearing protective covers and sturdy fridge slides for fasting in the vehicle, are also available for the newcomer to the series.
Due to its outstanding energy efficiency (average power consumption of about 45 watts in the cooling mode and about 70 watts for simultaneous cooling and battery recharging), the CoolFreeze CF-32UP reliably keeps the contents at the preset temperature for up to 16 hours. Battery recharging takes between ten and twelve hours and is monitored by an intelligent battery guard. Battery under-voltage during operation is indicated by visual and acoustic warning functions.
