Stefan Groß is a partner at the consulting firm Peters, Schönberger & Partner and already head of the VeR study group law & quality. Now he replaces the previous CEO Hubert S. Hohenstein, who controlled the fate of the organization more than four years. Marcus Laube is founder and CEO of crossinx GmbH. Julia Sonnhalter, Marketing Manager at Basware GmbH, is also in charge of the VeR study group marketing. Reinhard Wild is CEO at XimantiX Software GmbH.
The new board members will primarily work on promoting and further establishing the electronic invoice exchange on a national level. The ZUGFeRD-format will also have a significant role. As a comprehensive standard, it is intended to further support the distribution of electronic invoices. The VeR continues to pursue its goal that by the year 2014, 40 percent of all B2B-invoices in Germany will be sent electronically.
"Since the adjustment through the "Steuervereinfachungsgesetz 2011" (tax simplification law), there are no more barriers in fiscal law interfering with the electronic invoice exchange. With all its effort, the VeR will engage in establishing and promoting this subject in the economy during the next years." announces Stefan Groß.
Another task the new board members have committed to, is an intensified collaboration with other organizations like the VOI - Verband Organisations- und Informationssysteme e.V., BITKOM and the Bundesverband IT-Sicherheit e.V. (TeleTrusT). Furthermore, the already existing cooperation in the Forum Electronic Invoicing Germany (FeRD) shall be extended, and the exchange with the appropriate ministries continued.
