These catheters are mainly used in patient monitoring, intensive care and research to detect early chemical markers of Ischemia and cell damages. Meeting international acceptance since 10 years, CMA/Microdialysis offers a unique portfolio of hepatic, gastrointestinal, brain and other kind of established and innovative catheters.
"Synergy effects were noticed at first customer contacts as expect, and confirmed by many MEDICA visitors" adds Berthold Walter. Co-workers of CMA's German sales office are now employed by EKF to ensure the continual market approach and to develop the shareable business. "The combination of lab analyzers, POC diagnostics and clinical monitoring tools is the perfect mix, fitting to current and future demands. 2008 was a very successful year for EKF, expanding our core activities and strategic arrangements as well."
