Signum System´s JTAGjet-OMAP3 emulator supports the entire OMAP3 family, which includes the Cortex-A8 based OMAP3410/3420/3430/3440, OMAP3610/3620/3630/3640 and OMAP3515/3503 devices as well as the OMAP3530 and OMAP3525 devices which come with the Cortex-A8 and TMS320C64x+ DSP cores.
The expanded support allows debuggers other than Code Composer Studio™ to be used for development of OMAP3 applications. The emulator has been specifically configured to make debugging the OMAP3 family faster and easier and includes high-speed (480 Mbps) USB 2.0 interface to a Windows host PC, Chameleon Debugger™ for Cortex-A8, Embedded Trace Buffer (ETB) support, drivers for the Code Composer Studio™ 3.3 debugger, RDI drivers for third-party ARM debuggers as well as Flash programmer for rapid NOR and NAND flash programming.
The JTAGjet-OMAP3 is compatible with TI’s Code Composer Studio™ integrated development environment (IDE) as well as most major ARM-debuggers. The debugger’s ETB support adds extra visibility into the executing ARM code in real-time and allows tracing of the executing program and its variables.
For debugging complex applications the JTAGjet emulator may be optionally equipped with up to 18MBytes of real-time, ARM Embedded Trace Microcell (ETM) trace buffer memory. The Concurrent Debug option is available for applications where the ARM and DSP debuggers need to be used simultaneously.
The JTAGjet-OMAP3 emulator is available from stock. For more information please contact Embedded Tools GmbH at +49 251 98729-0 or info@embedded-tools.de.
