ITW's latest innovation in switching technology, using their unique ultrasonic ActiveTouch technology is a series of vandal, weather dust and water resistant keypads for extreme environments and are both washable and submersible in a large range of various layout combinations.
These keypads are seamlessly constructed from solid metal with raised sculpted keys and permanent markings. They use the same patented technology which utilizes acoustic resonance damping to accurately detect operation. This technology allows for diagnostics and real-time feedback - the switches know if they are operating properly
- or not - even when not being used, thus making it the cutting edge technology for security and hi-rel applications.
The units include 2 customer-controlled LED's and are available with a choice of RS-232, matrix or Wiegand output options. An auxiliary output is provided for camera or lighting actuation.
Typical applications are access control systems, POS, alarm systems, keyless entry points as well as ATM machines, medical and security facilities.
