- Modular programs for executives with management responsibility
- Scholarships for the Executive Transition Program, Bringing Technology to Market, and the General Management Seminar
ESMT European School of Management and Technology is once again awarding scholarships for women in leadership positions. Two full scholarships are available for the Executive Transition Program and the General Management Seminar. The scholarships are aimed at experienced female executives who have shown entrepreneurial initiative and proven success in their areas of responsibility. Partial scholarships are available for Bringing Technology to Market, a program for leaders responsible for the marketing of products and services on global B2B markets.
"The Executive Transition Program was very diverse," says Carolin Eggers, Head of Technical Sales at Microsoft Germany and 2014 participant of the Executive Transition Program. "We were confronted with diverse concepts and ways of thinking that we could then apply in practical exercises, such as business simulations. In addition to learning a lot, I met many interesting people from very different areas."
Christoph Burger, Senior Associate Dean of Executive Education at ESMT, commented, "Diversity is vital for a company to be successful, and female executives in top management positions are a crucial part of this diversity. With scholarships specifically for women, ESMT advocates this diversity. It is very important for us to accompany dedicated managers in all stages of their careers and to open up new perspectives for them in our programs."
The General Management Seminar, held in German, is divided into three one-week modules taking place between September and November 2015 at ESMT Campus Schloss Gracht near Cologne. The Executive Transition Program, in English, is held in three one-week modules between October 2015 and June 2016 in Schloss Gracht and Berlin. Both programs are designed for experienced, functional managers who have recently accepted, or are about to accept, positions with more general management responsibilities. Areas of focus include strategic management, change management, and leading people.
Bringing Technology to Market, held in English, takes place between June and November 2015. The first module is conducted at ESMT in Berlin, and the subsequent modules are held in cooperation with leading business schools in the United States and China. Bringing Technology to Market targets managers who lead a division or a regional company, who are responsible for a new product, a new market, or service, and whose employer is active both globally and regionally.
Candidates who wish to apply for a scholarship should submit a completed application form, a resume, and a cover letter via email. Application deadline for the Bringing Technology to Market scholarship is April 30, 2015. Scholarship applications for the General Management Seminar and the Executive Transition Program will be accepted until June 30, 2015.
