"We are delighted that, together with Stuttgart trade fair, we have found a model for exporting the LogiMAT brand to China," said Peter Kazander, Exhibition Director of LogiMAT in Stuttgart, who also has overall responsibility for LogiMAT China in Nanjing. "We are transferring one-to-one the LogiMAT recipe that has been so successful in Stuttgart. The themes covered at LogiMAT China will be identical to the ones covered at LogiMAT in Stuttgart. In addition, the visitors in Nanjing will also be able to look forward to a high-calibre supporting program of events," announced Kazander.
Roland Bleinroth, Managing Director of Landesmesse Stuttgart, adds: "We have an experienced team in place in Nanjing and together we have the best conditions for continuing the success story of Stuttgart in Nanjing."
For LogiMAT China 2014, which is being held in the ultra-modern Nanjing International Expo Centre (NIEC), the organisers are expecting around 100 exhibitors and over 5,000 trade visitors. 12,000 square metres of exhibition space (gross) are being planned.
With a population of over 80 million and directly bordering Shanghai, the province of Jiangsu is one of the most important manufacturing centres in China for Chinese and international companies. Already over 270 logistics parks and companies are now based in the province of Jiangsu.
"The province of Jiangsu and the City of Nanjing are among China's leading growth regions," says LogiMAT China Exhibition Director Peter Kazander. "The excellent location on the river Yangtze Kiang and the efforts made by the authorities have turned Nanjing into a top location for logistics and also for the trade fair LogiMAT China."
