2025 marks the 7th edition of this key industry gathering for Ethiopia’s agrofood & plastprintpack sectors. Organised by fairtrade Messe in close cooperation with their local partners Prana Events, agrofood & plastprintpack Ethiopia will once again take place at the Millennium Hall in Addis Ababa.

Review: agrofood & plastprintpack Ethiopia 2024 a resounding success
The 6th edition of agrofood & plastprintpack Ethiopia 2024 was widely acclaimed by exhibitors, trade visitors, institutional partners, and the media as a resounding success. Over the course of three days, the event facilitated thousands of B2B meetings among 3,483 registered trade visitors from Ethiopia and neighbouring countries, and 122 exhibitors from 12 countries.
The results from the digital exhibitor satisfaction survey, in which 95% of exhibitors participated, are compelling:

85% of exhibitors were satisfied or very satisfied with the number of visitors.

83% pleased with their quality.

81% appreciated the business opportunities following the fair.

The Ethiopian Beverages Manufacturing Industries Association EBMIA convened for a full day of dynamic sessions, networking opportunities, and knowledge exchange, coinciding with agrofood & plastprintpack Ethiopia 2024.
Another conference highlight certainly was the presentation of its first Agribusiness Challenge Fund by the Mastercard Foundation Fund for Resilience and Prosperity.
On Friday 17 May, the Ethiopian Plastic and Rubber Manufacturers Association hosted a conference focusing on pivotal issues relevant for its members and the wider professional community.

[*]Agriculture is the backbone of Ethiopia's economy and continues to contribute 33% of GDP, provide 66% of employment and generate 76% of the country's annual exports.
