Im Rahmen dieses Kurses werden u.a. Routing- und Switching-Konzepte sowie Layer 2- und Layer 3-Technologien näher gebracht. Den Schwerpunkt des Kurses bildet der Einsatz von Cisco Catalyst Switches und Cisco-Routern, die über LANs und WANs in kleineren und mittelgroßen Netzen verbunden sind. Außerdem werden die erforderlichen Kenntnisse für die Auswahl, die Verbindung, die Konfiguration und das Troubleshooting verschiedener Cisco Networking Devices vermittelt.
