Livestock farmers, agricultural consortia and farm outfitters are looking for new economical and environmentally friendly ways to process pig and cattle manure. Above all, the phosphate and nitrogen content is problematic when it comes to storage, transport and further processing of the liquid manure.
For the first time ever, Flottweg exhibited its mobile liquid manure separation system "MoRoPlant 20" at Agritechnica 2019. It separates liquid manure into solids and process water before storage. Thanks to the MoRoPlant 20, farms are provided with natural fertilizer on the one hand and process water for irrigation on the other. The Flottweg SE project manager, Anton Brunner, was very pleased with the high number of visitors: "The great interest shown by the many visitors confirms a great potential for liquid manure separation. We are completely satisfied with the results of Agritechnia 2019."
The summary of BrauBeviale 2019 in Nuremberg was also very positive. With 1,088 exhibitors and around 40,000 visitors, BrauBeviale is the world's most important trade fair for capital goods in the beverage industry. Flottweg presented its process, which minimizes beer loss in the cold area of the brewery. This ensures customers a previously unattainable cost saving in the area of cold hopping.
