The entry of Samsung Semiconductor Europe GmbH, the German subsidiary of the South Korean parent company Samsung Semiconductor, into the market is further evidence of confidence in the stability of Germany's energy policy. This partnership with another global company is yet more confirmation of Frankensolar's success in recent years. Samsung's environmental philosophy, reflected in its "Planet First" initiative, is just one of the reasons why Frankensolar managing director Thomas Hofmann believes the partnership has much to offer. "We were greatly attracted by Samsung's commitment to meet its own strict targets on energy efficiency, waste reduction and material recycling."
Besides sustainable production methods, one of the key proven strengths of Samsung modules is the efficient ratio of performance to roof surface required. Samsung offers high-performance modules with excellent output per surface area. "This saves costs and space. Combined with a positive output tolerance ensuring rated output is achieved or exceeded by up to 2.99 W, Samsung's high-performance modules provide a highly efficient product that enhances the Frankensolar range," says Uwe Konrad, head of product management.
"The decision to expand our portfolio, with products from another manufacturer that meets our demanding safety and quality standards, will only help to increase our competitiveness," claims Thomas Hofmann. The modules will be available from Frankensolar at the beginning of April 2011. The sales team looks forward to receiving your enquiries.
