Since March of this year in the Langenfelder Straße, neighbouring the present company facilities, the new production building with 1200sqm is being built. After completion, assembling will remain in the former production facility and the new hall will house the material storage and the entire CNC-manufacturing of components. There were many reasons for a new building.
For example: New machinery has different requirements in regards to dimensions as well as technology and these factors greatly influenced the planning of the new facility. The future production building is especially tailored and fitted to the technical demands of the FRITSCH CNC manufacturing of components. The height of the hall is dimensioned appropriately and features a crane runway with two 5T cranes. With the new facility additional capacities in component manufacturing and even shorter delivery times can be implemented. In the future, FRITSCH will be able to act on special customer needs even quicker. In order to guarantee an effective communication, both FRITSCH facilities, including the CNC machines, will be completely cross linked with one another.
But prior to the official launching of the building in fall, FRITSCH employees have to manage the move, so the building will be operational in November and the production can resume seamlessly. For the move, 10 working days are planned. Machines must be disconnected and prepared for transportation. A truck mounted crane, heavy duty vehicles with low-loading trucks will transport the machines to the new production facility. There, FRITSCH employees along with service technicians of the CNC machine manufacturers will set up the new building.
An official opening ceremony is planned for October 24th, 2008.
