Das Unternehmen aus Karlsruhe überzeugte die Jury mit ihrer flexiblen Service Management Suite Pact und erzielte den Sieg in der Kategorie IT-Service. Die Preisverleihung der begehrten Auszeichnung fand am Donnerstag, 06.03.2008 auf der CeBIT 2008 statt. Insgesamt wurden 33 Kategoriesieger, 16 Bundeslandsieger sowie jeweils ein Landessieger Schweiz und Österreich gekürt. Die Sieger konnten sich unter 1600 Bewerbungen durchsetzen. Weitere namhafte Unternehmen wie SAP Deutschland AG & Co. KG, Navigon AG und XING AG zählten zu den Gewinnern. Eine hochkarätige Jury aus Branchenexperten, Fachjournalisten und Wissenschaftlern bewertete alle eingereichten Lösungen hinsichtlich Innovationsgehalt, Nutzen und Mittelstandseignung.
