Protects Print Mechanism and saves repair cost: GeBECOMPACT Plus Printer with Presenter Unit

(PresseBox) (Germering, )
GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik GmbH will show one of its most compact integration thermal printers at the Embedded World 2014. This printer is especially suitable for applications where space is constricted. The now optionally available presenter unit saves cost because of its protection against improper handling during paper extraction. This protection prevents damage to the print mechanism and associated repair costs. The GeBE-COMPACT Plus can be utilized for the printing of receipts, tickets or thin card stock of up to 200μm paper thickness. The GeBECOMPACT Plus prints with a speed of up to 200mm/s and maintains a crisp resolution of up to 300dpi. There is always enough space for integration of this printer even in very tight spaces, and the device operates in the voltage range from 10.8V to 26.5V either connected to the grid or grid independent. GeBE will add a paper roll holder if desired - specific customization is available starting with small series order volume. GeBE will be at the Embedded World in Nuremberg from February 25th through the 27th , 2014 at hall 1, booth 1-169.

Prepared for improper handling

GeBE offers the COMPACT Plus for 60mm and 82mm paper width. Optionally available is an inline presenter unit. This unit will only present the printout after all internal printing processes are completed. Any negative effects of pulling or tugging on the printout will not effect the printing process. Additionally available is a anti-jam unit. This unit immediately stops the printing process in case of improper handling. That makes the GeBE-COMPACT Plus printer ideally suitable for applications where frequent rough handling is to be expected.

Ready for Wind and Weather

The heavy duty print mechanism has proven extreme durability when cutting thick paper in full or partial cut. The stainless steel cutting mechanism stays corrosion free inside or out, and the printer head holds up to a humid environment. An additional protective lacquer protects sensitive electronics from humidity. Using manufacturer recommended paper the GeBE-COMPACT Plus prints absolutely reliable in a temperature range of -20°C bis +70°C.
