Wind park Attigny goes into operation
With the completion of wind park Attigny, Green Energy 3000 increases its presence in France and continues its vision of clean energy production. This is an extension of the Saulces-Champenoise I (8 MW) and Saulces-Champenoise II (12 MW) wind farms already built by the corporate group in the department Ardennes, which were commissioned in 2014.
At the Attigny wind park, 4 Nordex type N117 turbines with a rated output of 3,000 kW each have been installed. With the 12 MW additionally installed, the total wind power capacity installed by Green Energy 3000 in the department Ardennes increases to around 65 MW. A further 75 MW are currently being planned.
The wind park, which has already been put into operation, will be transferred to the Green Energy 3000 Group company portfolio. Green Asset 3000 GmbH is responsible for operation and maintenance management. The turbines are monitored remotely via the group’s 24/7 dispatch centre in Dubai.
Mezzanine capital facilitates further growth
In July 2023, Green Energy 3000 announced the partnership with RIVE Private Investment, which will provide the company with mezzanine capital of 3.2 million euros. This financial support will be used to refinance the equity of the Attigny wind farm, the Chassenard ground-mounted solar farm in the department Allier, and future projects.
The two projects mentioned have a production capacity that supplies almost 10,000 households with sustainable electricity every year. This will save around 2,300 tonnes of CO2 per year.
Ange Da Gbadji, Director of Green Energy 3000 France and Board member at Green Energy 3000, said: “This financing option enables us as project developers to overcome various challenges in construction as well as in the pre-financing of upcoming projects and those ready for construction. This is a good thing, especially in a context where we are under pressure to become more proactive in developing renewable energy, with limited resources, a rapidly changing environment, and rising interest rates.”
Successes in Germany
Green Energy 3000 has signed an EPC contract with a private investor for a 12 MWp solar park in Güsten in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The range of services includes technical planning, procurement, and turnkey plant construction.
At the same time, a 7 MWp photovoltaic plant from the company's own project development will be realised at the same location: The total installed capacity is thus 19 MWp.
With these successes in France and Germany, Green Energy 3000 is making its vision of a sustainable and green future a reality. The steady expansion into different markets enables the company to make a significant contribution to the energy transition and further reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
