Unter rund 1.600 Bewerbern erhielt die GreenGate AG den Preis in der Kategorie SYSTEMMANAGEMENT für die Betriebsführungssoftware GS-Service.
Im Rahmen der diesjährigen CeBIT wurde die begehrte Auszeichnung auf dem Stand des Landes Baden-Württemberg verliehen. Unter den Augen der über 400 Firmenvertreter aus Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz sowie einer großen Zahl an Medienvertretern nahm Achim Wirges, Vorstandsvorsitzender der GreenGate AG, den viel beachteten Preis entgegen.
Die GreenGate AG mit Sitz in Windeck entwickelt seit dem Jahr 2000 individuelle Softwarelösungen zur nachhaltigen Betriebsführung und zur Organisation von Instandhaltungsaufgaben. Der beständig wachsende Kundenkreis ist breit gefächert: Unternehmen aus Industrie und Wirtschaft, Netzbetreiber (Gas, Wasser, Strom), sowie Stadtwerke und Betriebe aus der Wasserwirtschaft. Zunehmend interessieren sich Unternehmen aus dem europäischen Ausland für GS-Service. Deshalb wurde im Jahr 2006 mit der GreenGate GmbH eine Tochtergesellschaft in der Schweiz gegründet.
