The ACHEMA fair crew of Sommer Maschinen- & Anlagenbau of Düsseldorf. which now belongs to the HAVER Group, proudly announced, "On our first day of the fair, we have our first order!"
Together with Fuchs AG of Mannheim, Germany, the well-known supplier of quality lubricants and grease, the delivery of a 5-tonne autoclave for a production facility in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia was agreed on.
Premium quality grease of various recipes is manufactured in a 4,600-litre vessel at a temperature of up to 280°C and 15 bars of pressure. Here solid additives are added manually and the liquids are fed in automatically.
The entire process is guided via a menu so that the operator only needs to follow the steps shown on the display. Depending on the recipe at hand, a batch production takes between four and five hours.
With this delivery, the Fuchs plant in Saudi Arabia is getting a second Sommer autoclave, thus affirming their full satisfaction with Sommer quality in every respect.
