Measuring 25,1 mm in height, 23 mm wide and 12 mm in depth, QwicGrip is a versatile and cost-effective wire management component that performs reliably over the installation's lifespan, supporting efficient operation and maximum energy yield.
"We developed QwicGrip as a cost-effective fastening solution for solar professionals and installers," says Stephanie Brede, EMEA Region Product Manager at HellermannTyton. "Customer trials show that QwicGrip speeds up installation, holds cables securely and simplifies maintenance throughout the solar park.”
"Each QwicGrip can hold two cables measuring between 5.2 mm and 8 mm in diameter and multiple fasteners can be slotted together to route larger cable runs in parallel.," explains Stephanie Brede. "It can be fastened in the desired orientation using a suitable cable tie. Versions with an arrowhead base for easy manual insertion into frame holes and a self-adhesive version are planned to follow shortly.”
In addition to weather-resistant polyamide 6.6 (PA66W), QwicGrip will also be available in polyamide 11 (PA11). Derived from renewable sources of castor oil rather than fossil-based resources, PA11 is an environmentally responsible material choice that is durable in outdoor applications and has excellent resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and UV radiation, even in subtropical conditions.
QwicGrip benefits at a glance:
- Speed: The push-in clamp allows for quick and easy cable laying with one hand.
- Flexibility: The component is combinable and offers three mounting options.
- Efficiency: Even spacing eliminates power loss from electromagnetic interference.
- Sustainability: Customers can choose renewable PA11 material.
