The hydraulic pump, designed for workshop use, is used for pumping off or for filling and refilling all non-easily flammable liquids. These include engine and gear oil, radiator antifreeze or brake fluid, for example.
The filling/extraction pump can be driven either electrically using a cordless screwdriver or pneumatically using an air ratchet or an impact screwdriver. For quick refilling, Herth+Buss recommends a cordless screwdriver that can be inserted into the pump without any other aids. The flow rate achieved is three litres per minute. The filling/extraction pump is ideal for use in the workshop. It is equipped with a lightweight, glass-fibre reinforced plastic housing on the outside. The pump mechanism is also made of metal, making it durable and wear-resistant.
Another advantage for the workshop is the rapid action coupling, which ensures rapid hose replacement. The plastic guide and the rubber band also allow stable mounting of different sizes of cordless screwdriver. In addition, filling or extraction can be carried out by only one person. The second hand remains free to guide the hose thanks to the additional one-handed operation. The scope of supply includes a quarter inch hex on three eighths of an inch drive adapter and a storage case.
A tutorial for the filling/extraction pump can also be found on the Herth+Buss YouTube channel, which explains how to use the pump precisely.
