HP stellt der Open Source-Community den Tru64 UNIX Advanced Filesystem-Quellcode zur Verfuegung

HP hat den Quellcode des Tru64 UNIX Advanced Filesystem (AdvFS) der Open Source-Community zur Verfuegung gestellt. Der Quellcode des AdvFS bietet unter anderem Funktionen, die die Laufzeit sowie die Sicherheit Linux-basierter Filesysteme erhoehen und deren maximale Performance gewaehrleisten. HP wird den Code als Referenz-Implementierung eines Linux Filesystems fuer eine Enterprise-Umgebung unter den Bedingungen der General Public License Version 2 zur Verfuegung stellen. Zudem bietet HP Dokumentationsmaterial fuer die Entwicklung, Testsoftware sowie Ressourcen fuer das Engineering.
