As from September 2013, the LUMIMAX® product range will be expanded with mounting solutions for various lightings of the brand LUMIMAX®.
These newly developed holders enable the high performance LUMIMAX® LED lights to be attached directly to the Machine Vision cameras Cognex InSight 5xxx series, Simatic MV440, as well as Baumer Verisens XC-series. Firstly the industrial-suited mounting solutions are available for the Spot 5W, the LED area lights SQ40 and SQ80 and for the LED ring light CRC70. Further versions for other lights will be available soon. Currently complete solutions for dome (cloudy day) and coaxial lights are being developed.
The ring light CRC70/FL is clamped with a 20mm protective tube extension. This extension can be mounted multiply in a row as often as desired and therefore offers the possibility to use larger/longer lenses, e.g. telecentric lenses. The Spot 5W/FL and the LED area lights SQ40 and SQ80 can be flexibly mounted to a mounting plate with extensions. When required, these lights can be installed with multiple 25 and 50mm extensions. These mounting variations enable an exact adjustment of the illumination angle and the operating distance.
The holders are mainly designed for applications with small operating distances up to 500mm, e.g. code-reading, assembly and completeness inspections etc..
The innovative mounting solutions enable a compact, quick and easy integration of LUMIMAX® LED lights. This saves additional construction, design and mounting effort when integrating Machine Vision components, which can lead to significant cost savings.
