In the future, the energy company EnBW will rely on the modern data governance process from ISO Professional Services. In addition, EnBW opted for further SAP add-ons from the Marlin Suite for Data Quality in SAP from the Nuremberg-based company.
In the energy company EnBW’s selection process of for a suitable data governance process including further SAP add-ons, ISO Professional Services prevailed. The Nuremberg-based company was able to convince with its Master Data Governance process and the additional SAP add-ons Duplicate Check, Address Validation, Sanction List Screening and VAT-ID Check from the Marlin Suite.
Among the reasons for choosing ISO Professional Services were the short four-month implementation time, S/4HANA capability, direct SAP integration, comprehensive product suite, and positive reference discussions. The goal of the introduction of the Marlin SAP Add-ons was to systematically increase data quality, both in data creation and in the maintenance of master data.
The product package will be implemented according to the best practice concept. This means that the basic functions are available three weeks after delivery and are adjusted to the requirements of EnBW in workshops. In this process, the ISO team supports the EnBW project team during implementation, training and go-live.
"We are very satisfied with the first joint steps to introduce the ISO-Gruppe's add-on products. Thanks to the detailed installation instructions and the competent consulting, we were able to integrate the add-ons into our SAP S/4HANA system quickly. In a joint workshop to record our process requirements, these were largely implemented directly in the system by an ISO-Gruppe employee. The first creation and maintenance processes supported by the add-ons thus became tangible and usable in our development system very quickly," explain Joachim Fies and Heinrich Dold, both responsible for Master Data Management in the SAP S/4HANA implementation project at EnBW.
