Alaska Airlines and its affiliate Horizon Air can thus process IATA Miscellaneous Invoices in accordance with IATA SIS standards.
Alaska Airlines, along with its sister carrier Horizon Air, will use SKYfly M-Billing by ISO Software Systeme to handle invoices for various services such as Ground Handling – known as “Miscellaneous Billing” in IATA terminology.
According to the current IATA SIS standards, Miscellaneous Billing has to be done without paper from now on. Besides introducing mandatory formats this presents another challenge: to unify processes which are so far unregulated. Alaska Airlines, one of the most successful airlines, has decided to meet the new requirements in an efficient way – with SKYfly M-Billing. The system is supposed to ease both the implementation as well as the day-to-day work. State-of-the-art technology and scalability also made SKYfly M-Billing Alaska’s product of choice.
“SKYfly M-Billing by ISO Software Systeme lets us process our Miscellaneous Billing in accordance with the prevalent IATA SIS standards. We are therefore more timely, accurate and efficient in settling invoices with our business partners”, says Paul Addis, Project Manager Alaska Airlines.
