IATA – the International Air Transport Association – provides the only official industry certification program supporting the New Distribution Capability (NDC) standard. As part of its strategic partnership with IATA, ISO was first certified for NDC in 2017. By now, almost the entire SKY product family is based on NDC and ONE Order – the revenue accounting software SKYfly, the airline retailing platform SKYres and now the internet booking engine SKYsell.
ISO is furthermore pioneering the full utilization of NDC and ONE Order. In September, ISO entered into a cooperation agreement with the Canadian airline FLYGTA. As a result of this cooperation, FLYGTA will become the first airline in the world to rely entirely on NDC and ONE Order.
“We are very pleased that IATA has recognized our work. The modern order management system SKYres is helping to revolutionize flight bookings and special services,” explains Ingo Schuch, Director Business Development Airline Solutions & Projects at ISO Software Systeme GmbH. “We will continue on this path and grow our product family with further solutions that allow airlines to expand their personalized offerings for flights and ancillaries.”
The official statement by IATA: “On 9 October 2019, ISO Software Systeme GmbH was granted ‘NDC Capable’ Level 4 status for its NDC-based solution SKYres, under the NDC Certification Program. This status recognizes that the SKYres supports deployments using Full Offer and Order management messages whose schemas are compliant with the standard NDC message schema, version 18.2.”
