Die ITIL®-Prozesslandkarte ist ein ITIL-Prozessmodell, das als Basis und Leitlinie für alle typischen ITIL®- und ISO-20000-Vorhaben entwickelt wurde. Weltweit nutzen es Unternehmen, um ITIL schneller und kostengünstiger umzusetzen - und gleichzeitig unabhängiger von externen Beratern zu sein.
In Folge der Veröffentlichung von ITIL Edition 2011 im Juli 2011 wurde die ITIL®-Prozesslandkarte inhaltlich redigiert und erweitert. "Obwohl ITIL 2011, wie die Autoren betonen, keine gänzlich neuen Konzepte mit sich bringt, gibt es diverse substanzielle Änderungen - und einige davon haben weitreichende Anpassungen am ITIL-Prozessmodell erforderlich gemacht", erläutert Stefan Kempter, Inhaber von IT Process Maps.
Nach neun Monaten sind das Update der ITIL®-Prozesslandkarte sowie ihre eingehende Prüfung durch die APM Group Ltd. (http://www.apmgroupltd.com) abgeschlossen, in der die fachliche Stimmigkeit aller Inhalte des Produktes mit den Grundsätzen der Cabinet Office Best Practice Leitlinien verifiziert wurde. Erneut hat das ITIL-Prozessmodell das offizielle Review durch die APMG erfolgreich bestanden und die Auszeichnung "ITIL® Licensed Product" erhalten.
Die ITIL®-Prozesslandkarte ist in Deutsch und Englisch für die meist gebräuchlichen Anwendungen und Prozessmanagement-Plattformen erhältlich, z.B. für Microsoft Visio(TM) , die ARIS Process Platform(TM) und iGrafx®. Das ITIL-Prozessmodell ist vollständig mit ITIL 2011 und ISO 20000:2011 kompatibel. Es deckt den ITIL-Standard - den "Service-Lebenszyklus" - mit seinen fünf Phasen komplett ab.
