Open source software becomes more important for medium-sized businesses in Germany

openArchitectureWare Professional Support Partner, itemis, announced today that it has been voted among the top 100 companies in German small and medium-sized businesses (http://www.top100.de). itemis has won this reward for its contributions to the open source movement, which becomes more and more imported for medium-sized businesses in Germany.

"Winning this price shows that projects like openArchitectureWare which were struggeling to gain market shares in the past are now on a good way to become very popular", says Wolfgang Neuhaus, CEO of itemis. The company also annouced today that it will increase its efforts in supporting the openArchitectureWare framework in the near future.
