Europas Neufahrzeugmärkte mussten auch im zweiten Monat des Jahres einen Absatzrückgang hinnehmen. Nach Angaben des internationalen Marktbeobachters JATO Dynamics in Limburg lagen die Neuzulassungen im Februar um 9,5 % hinter denen des Vorjahresmonats. In den ersten beiden Monaten ging der Absatz verglichen mit dem Vorjahr um 8,1% zurück. Weiter erfolgreich ist Volkswagen. Golf und Polo blieben die beliebtesten Modelle Europas.
"Klar ist, dass trotz des angespannten wirtschaftlichen Klimas die Investitionen in neue Modelle über alle Segmente hinweg wichtig sind", sagt Gareth Hession, Vizepräsident von JATO Research. "Das beweist der Erfolg von Fahrzeugen wie Kia Rio, Range Rover Evoque und Audi A6, die sich alle in der ganzen Region gut verkaufen."
