Eric Lehmann, CEO of Jet Messaging, said: "Jet Messaging is excited to be an early sponsor of THack @ Hamburg. For the first time, IATA will be opening the doors of its industry changing NDC sandbox to a global community of developers with the goal to transform the airline shopping experience. JMT will provide ready-to-go libraries built from the latest IATA NDC schema set, so that C# developers can start their core development immediately, without the need to waste time building infrastructure code first. Time and agility is everything in a hackathon, and Jet Messaging Libraries will get teams developing their award winning solutions faster."
Using IATA's NDC Release Candidate, Jet Messaging has generated a complete JMT Library, representing the full schema landscape of nearly 2000 data types. Designing applications and infrastructure around a new XML-based standard requires time to understand the schema, and often involves significant trial and error during implementation, especially in the validation of message syntax. With ready-to-use C# DLLs, Jet Messaging can help the travel industry adopt this new IATA NDC standard quickly.
The full commercial product is available in the Jet Messaging online store at componentsource.com, and requires the purchase of a license key after a 30 day evaluation period.
Further C# libraries are available for the HTNG, OpenTravel, OTDS and ISO20022 schema definitions. Java library versions will be released later this year. Jet Messaging also generates libraries directly from your company's own custom XML schemas.
