The SCHMIDHUBER agency developed a stand and communication concept in order to present this know-how to the professionals attending the world’s leading trade fair for sheet metal processing in an interesting and vivid way. The individual technologies were separated into several “houses”, although the networking could still be clearly communicated. In particular, the Smart Factory Forum encouraged a lively exchange between trade visitors and TRUMPF employees. Experts answered visitors’ questions and showed, by using examples, how sheet metal fabricators can take a step-by-step approach to tackling the networking of their own production. “Get Connected” was the logical slogan, which was reflected both in the stand concept and in the graphic communication and media staging.
For this temporary brand world to emerge at EuroBLECH 2018, all participants not only had to work together extremely professionally but also think in a networked way. A challenge for the KECK project management was the coordination with the specialist departments of TRUMPF, the trade fair construction agency and other special teams for lighting planning, media and IT technology, steel construction and exhibit construction. An authentic communication platform for TRUMPF and its innovations was created working around the clock for a period of 18 days.
It was worth the effort: according to the TRUMPF trade show team, the number of trade visitors increased by an additional 30% compared to EuroBLECH 2016.
