For the 15th time keytech reached the highest partner status that Microsoft rewards in its application development program. Microsoft’s requirements for awarding this status are, for good reason, not insignificant. To become a Gold Application Development Partner software suppliers must fulfill a host of requirements.
In addition to the relevant application passing the Gold Competency test for Windows 8, companies must also provide customer references and show customer satisfaction via a questionnaire. This process is centrally managed and evaluated by Microsoft.
“The deep and enduring integration within the Microsoft environment has always been a priority for us,” says Dr. Reiner Heimsoth. “Right now it appears that mobile devices and the rise of the “Bring Your Own Device” philosophy is somewhat softening Microsoft’s dominance in the business arena. Our experience shows however, that as before our customers are primarily using Windows,” explains the CEO of keytech, supplier of a PLM and DMS software with an integrated planning tool.
keytech Software GmbH has made it very clear, not least with the development of the keytech explorer apps family, that they wish to provide keytech users with a user interface that is customized to the relevant operating system and end device.
This applies equally to the classical desktop environment, where the deep integration within the Microsoft world and the fast adaptation to new technologies are central building blocks to their strategy in this area.
With reference to the user interface, which keytech adapted very early to the .NET technology, as well as with reference to the integration of current Microsoft Office products keytech offers their customers a highly technical solution, proven once again with the renewal of their Microsoft Partner status.
