After more than 19 years at Schmitz Cargobull, Josef Warmeling, manager for international key account management has made the decision to leave Europe's biggest manufacturer of semi-trailers. The manager will remain loyal to the industry and his customers, and will join Europe's third-largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles, Kögel. Josef Warmeling will strengthen the company’s management team in future.
Alongside Managing Director Massimo Dodoni, he will take up a role in international key account management, as well as drive and continue to expand value added services. He will also be responsible for the company’s collaborative work with associations and OEMs.
Ulrich Humbaur, sole proprietor of Kögel Trailer GmbH & Co. KG, is pleased with the new addition. “We are thrilled to have acquired such a top manager with excellent sales and leadership expertise, as well as an outstanding network in the European commercial vehicles industry, as a contact partner for our customers and the industry. This will allow us to continue our consistent customer-orientated approach,” says Ulrich Humbaur.
Josef Warmeling will start working in the Kögel management team on 1 April 2018 after his release phase. “We aim to be, and will continue to be a reputable, reliable partner for our customers and compete in league with the big names,” says Ulrich Humbaur.
“I am very happy to be joining the management team,” says Josef Warmeling, general manager at Kögel. “Both the owner and my new management colleagues have convinced me that I can optimally serve our customers as part of the team with my many years of experience.”
