The World in ONE Collection
The world we live in is chockfull of colours, emotions and sounds. Varying preferences, traditions and trends are what make life so diverse and colourful. According to Max von Tippelskirch, CMO and member of the Management Board of the SWISS KRONO GROUP, “we have often asked ourselves whether people are really as different as they seem. We’ve discovered that, regardless of their cultural differences, people everywhere have the same ideas, dreams and needs.” And amid all the styles and trends, people want to create an ambience that defines and expresses their own personalities. “This notion spurred us to implement our dream of creating a diverse international collection of furniture decor panels that combines intensive colours and designs with exciting structures,” says von Max von Tippelskirch. The ONE World Collection spans a total of 68 decors with eight different surface structures, four of which are nature-identical, and invites everyone to experiment with different interior design styles.
In the collection’s catalogue, the SWISS KRONO GROUP presents various persons who exemplify the diversity and individuality of people everywhere. They are of different ages, hail from different countries and have quite different occupations and ideas about life. But they all have one thing in common: the wish for an appropriately designed, decorated and furnished home. They give us glimpses of their flats or dream houses and talk about what they like and what is important to them. Frédéric of France, Natalia of Poland, Silvia of Sweden and the rest have all found in the ONE WORLD Collection the right decors to optimally express their personal living styles.
These insights underscore the possibilities for combining the elements of this coordinated collection. Specialists have optimised the colours and designs and harmonised them with the wood decors.
From August 2015, the ONE WORLD Collection will be available with 28 unicolours, 31 wood designs, 4 metallic and 5 fantasy designs, including 1.0 mm abs edges and HPL laminates. The stocked and deliverable products may vary; please contact the responsible sales representatives for details.
Practical Tools for Interior Architects and Designers
The ONE WORLD Collection primarily targets designers, architects, planners and other creative professionals who directly deal with clients. To facilitate their work, the SWISS KRONO GROUP has developed the “ONE Design Box”. It contains unique tools and is exclusively tailored to meeting the needs of these professions:
- Three colour fans for testing and choosing colours and designs
- A décor card with an overview of the entire collection
- The décor portfolios available at the individual sites
- The contact data of a personal representative
- An 80-page catalogue featuring 9 or 18 design and combination ideas
“With ONE WORLD, we are creating a brand that will form the basis of our product portfolio and become the new normal for design-orientated interior decorating throughout Europe,” says von Tippelskirch. This brand and the product range will continue to grow over the years ahead, also integrating the existing collections of the various Group companies. “Local needs, preferences and characteristics are very important to us,” he says. “They will therefore also be reflected in the regional collections.” Of special importance for customers in different countries is that it no longer matters where buyers or their own clients are located – all of the decors will be available everywhere.
Sample Library at interzum 2015
The SWISS KRONO GROUP exhibit at this year’s interzum fair will centre around the premiere of the ONE WORLD Collection. Besides furniture panels, the Group also has quite a bit more to offer. Its individual firms will showcase additional highlights in a sample library comprising three sections:
- Interior: for example, SWISSCDF variations
- Building Materials: including versatile OSB boards
- Flooring: for example, the Grand Selection MONUMENTAL featuring the world’s longest laminate planks
