785 nm Laser Diode in TO Housing

Never-Before-Seen Volume Bragg Grating in the NIR Range

At LASER COMPONENTS you will get the world's first VBG-stabilized 785 nm singlemode laser diode from PD-LD. In the near infrared spectral range, this is the first laser in a 5.6 mm TO housing to which VBG technology was able to be applied successfully.

The laser diode has two main features: a stable wavelength with a low spectral bandwidth of only 0.1 nm and a high optical output power of up to 120 mW. This is made possible by the combination of patented VBG technology and a monitor diode or an internal temperature sensor.

These diodes are used in Raman spectroscopy, medical technology, and military applications.
