The event program is divided into different subject blocks: emission, transmission, detection, and applications. Thirty-five presentations will cover topics such as the advantages of disruptive UVC LEDs in disinfection solutions, the manufacture of low-absorption optics for UV applications, and the use of UV lasers in quantum technology.
“While standard solutions have already been established in other spectral ranges for most applications, science and technology in the UV spectrum often still require new solutions,” says Dr. Olga Stroh-Vasenev of LASER COMPONENTS. “The exchange of knowledge and experience is, therefore, particularly important in this industry. Our WORKshop offers the perfect opportunity for such an exchange. This was proven by the positive response we received after the last event and the great demand for a regular series of events.”
