Both low power blades support integrated graphics with 3D graphics engine and dual independent VGA/DVI ports, making them ideal solutions for factory automation, transportation, and medical equipment system integrators who are searching for dual-core processor CompactPCI® blades with enhanced graphics performance and high memory capacity at an optimal price/performance ratio.
The cPCI-3965 and cPCI-6965 feature the Mobile Intel® GME965 Express chipset, low power Intel® Core(TM) 2 Duo 2.2 GHz, and up to 4 GB dual channel capable DDR2 RAM, offering a 1.5 times graphics performance gain over the previous 945GME chipset, and provide up to QXGA (2048x1536) resolution and 3 Gbps Serial ATA (SATA) bandwidth. The cPCI-3965 and cPCI-6965 enable greater graphics performance with the integrated Mobile Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 and its 32-bit 3D graphics engine with Microsoft® DirectX® 9 and SGI OpenGL®1.5 support, and provide dual independent displays through VGA and DVI ports on the cPCI-3965, and two DVI ports on the front panel of the cPCI-6965.
