Gocator 2430 and 2440 extend the Gocator 2400 series to cover rubber & tire applications, as well as scanning medium-sized objects such as electronics enclosures, automotive components, and packaged products. With the latest 2-megapixel imaging technology and an optimized optical design, these sensors achieve scan rates up to 5 kHz and provide high measurement sensitivity for scanning dark materials such as tire tread and sidewall.
Faster scanning and acquisition let you speed up your inline process and attain higher resolutions. Multiple exposures for high dynamic ranges are also easier to achieve at production speed. With larger fields of view, users can accomplish more with fewer sensors, while capturing fine surface and edge detail.
Using any web browser, Gocator’s built-in user interface offers a flexible configuration of settings and built-in 3D measurement tools. With no additional software to install, Gocator is ready to solve applications out-of-the-box.
“Our company has a long track record of developing solutions for the rubber & tire industry, and we’ve built this knowledge and experience into our new 3D line profiler design. The latest Gocator 2400 models are made to empower R&T manufacturers so they can achieve improved production and profitability by leveraging smart 3D technology. Early customer evaluations have been very positive, and now we’re excited to bring these products to the wider market,” said Terry Arden, CEO, LMI Technologies.
