“EuroBLECH is the largest trade exhibition and an economic and technological trend barometer for the sheet metal working industry. We are confident that with the dimensions of this year’s show and an overall positive economic outlook for the industry sector, EuroBLECH 2014 will, once again, provide a key marketplace for successful business and worldwide contacts and that both, exhibitors and visitors, will have a rewarding experience at the show,” says Nicola Hamann, Managing Director, Mack Brooks Exhibitions.
High proportion of international participation
The proportion of international exhibitors at EuroBLECH is, once again, very high (47%). At this year’s exhibition, major exhibitor countries next to Germany are Italy, China, Turkey, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, Austria, the USA and Great Britain.
“The high percentage of international participation demonstrates that the sheet metal working industry continues to focus on worldwide business contacts. For companies in the industry sector it is clear that they need to operate internationally. This is not only the case for exhibiting companies that use the event to further develop their international sales, but also for companies that visit the show. They face the challenge to compete with their products on a global market and, therefore, have to build worldwide business networks,” says Nicola Hamann.
Production processes have strongly advanced
EuroBLECH offers its audience a comprehensive overview of the prevailing technological trends in sheet metal working. Companies looking to find suitable machinery and smart solutions for modern production can find an extensive product range, from conventional systems through to advanced, high-tech processes.
“Production processes in sheet metal working have, once again, strongly advanced over the past two years. Solutions offering more flexibility, higher precision and excellent quality are high on the agenda of manufacturing companies. The use of automation and robotics in sheet metal working continues to grow; and lightweight construction and laser processing are continuously creating innovation in the field of sheet metal working. Visitors will be able to discover a large number of live demonstrations of all the new technologies at the exhibitors’ stands,” explains Nicola Hamann.
The show profile of the 23rd International Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition represents the entire sheet metal working technology chain: sheet metal, semi-finished and finished products, handling, separation, forming, flexible sheet metal working, joining, welding, tube / section processing, surface treatment, processing of hybrid structures, tools, quality control, CAD/CAM systems, factory equipment and R&D.
