Mack Brooks Exhibitions Ltd of the United Kingdom and InterAds Exhibitions Pte Ltd of India announce the formation of a new joint venture company, InterAds Brooks Pte Ltd. The new 50:50 joint venture company has been created to launch and develop new trade exhibitions in India. A first event, inter airport India, took place from 21-23 February 2007 at Delhi’s Pragati Maidan Exhibition Center.
Stephen Brooks, Chairman of Mack Brooks Exhibitions Ltd, said: “We are delighted to have formed this partnership with InterAds to bring international trade shows to India and to participate in the development of professionally organised, global events in this rapidly developing part of the world. Foreign suppliers are very interested in taking part in exhibitions in India and require professional show organisers of whom they can be one hundred percent confident. It is in response to this demand that we have taken the new initiative in India. We worked very hard to find the best and most appropriate partner in India and found InterAds to offer exactly the right potential for such a successful co-operation.”

inter airport India was heralded a great success by organisers, exhibitors and visitors alike. 155 exhibitors presented a comprehensive range of airport equipment, technology and services. 75% of the companies were from outside India, from a total of 18 countries and the show attracted some 3,000 trade visitors. The second edition of the inter airport India event is scheduled to take place from 25 – 27 March 2008 at Delhi’s Pragati Maidan Exhibition Center.
In addition, the new joint venture company, InterAds Brooks, will organise Exporail, India for the first time in Delhi from 16 – 18 October 2007. Mack Brooks is the world leader in the organising of airport and rail trade exhibitions. inter airport Europe in Germany is the flagship event for the airport industry, with complementary events being held in China, the USA and now in India. For the railway industry, a series of established exhibitions already take place in England, Switzerland, France, Italy, China and Russia. Mack Brooks also organises leading international technology exhibitions in a variety of metal working, engineering, textile, transport, construction and IT sectors and plans to announce further new events in India in the coming months.
InterAds Brooks is also now focusing upon the potential to partner with third-party owners of established international show brands who wish to bring events to India, particularly from the USA and Europe.
