Denn beispielsweise mit der Open-Cloud-Plattform c-Com, stellt MAPAL die Weichen für die Zukunft. „Wir werden unseren Kunden noch in diesem Jahr unter anderem ein umfassendes, digitales Toolmanagement auf Basis von c-Com anbieten können“, kündigt Dr. Jochen Kress, Mitglied der MAPAL Geschäftsleitung, an.
Investitionen
Neben den Investitionen in Forschung und Entwicklung setzt MAPAL in diesem Jahr mehrere Bauvorhaben an internationalen Standorten in die Tat um. Dazu erläutert Dr. Jochen Kress: „Wir investieren in diesem Jahr verstärkt in unsere Infrastruktur in den USA, in China und Mexiko.“ Darüber hinaus hat MAPAL die Mehrheit an ADICO, einem südkoreanischen Hersteller von PKD und PcBN, übernommen. Die Anteile an der BECKER Diamantwerkzeuge GmbH hingegen wurden an die Ceratizit-Gruppe verkauft.
