Exceptional graphics performance on CompactPCI Serial
With its Eyefinity technology from AMD, the G232 multi-display controller can independently control up to four displays, or combine them into a large display with a common content via daisy chaining.
By standard, the G232 is equipped with three DisplayPort 1.2 interfaces with a max. resolution of 4096x2560 at 60 Hz and 24 bpp, as well as a DisplayPort 1.1a interface with a max. resolution of 2560x1600 at 60 Hz and a color depth of 24 bpp at the front.
The GPU comes with 160 stream processors and with a frequency of 600 MHz - having a power dissipation of only 20 watts.
The OpenCL standard supported on the E6465 GPU makes it possible to increase the computing power using GPGPU (general purpose computation on graphics processing unit). The high parallelism with which the GPU executes the programs significantly increases speed.
The programmable 3D graphics engine supports Microsoft DirectX 11, as well as a third-generation video decoder. The video conversion function (AMD Unified Video Decoder) supports the formats H.264, VC-1, MPEG-4 and MPEG-2.
With passive DisplayPort adapters, up to two HDMI or DVI-D monitors can be connected as an alternative.
The high resolution and multi-display outputs make the G232 the ideal partner to meet the visual requirements in central control rooms, video surveillance systems, simulators, professional audio / video equipment or digital signage applications.
