The Mechanical Engineering Day is taking place on 15 June 2016 in the CongressCenter of Messe Erfurt under the slogan: "Assistance systems for mechanical engineering". The aim of the conference is to introduce the latest research findings and technology trends. The focus is on the following issues:
· Assistance systems in the automation of material flow and assembly
· Control algorithms, sensor technology and diagnostic tools of assistance systems
· Tools and tool components with integrated sensor and actuator technology
· Process integrated quality assurance through intelligent metric and diagnostic systems
· Optimisation of human-machine interfaces
· Assistance systems for the diagnosis and operational optimisation of machines and systems
· Networking of systems and processes
The event is geared towards technical specialists and managers in the industry as well as to scientists in mechanical and tool engineering, who are engaged not only with mechanical engineering research, but also with cross-industry issues such as optics, micro and nanotechnologies, new materials and robotics.
"Generative technologies are contributing to significant savings in cost and time and are creating considerable competitive advantages for enterprises," says University Professor and Doctor of Engineering, Klaus Augsburg, from the coordination team at the Thuringia Centre for Mechanical Engineering. "Rapid.Tech + FabCon 3.D's unique combination of congress and exhibition provide our event with an excellent framework." All registered participants of the Thuringia Mechanical Engineering Day will of course be able to visit the trade show.
