Even in the high-performance variant with the Intel® Atom™ E3845 processor with four processor cores (1.91 GHz), the flexible NanoServer® N1-A3 can be operated on request at temperatures as high as 40 °C without requiring a housing fan. In addition to this standard configuration, the dual-core Intel® Atom™ E2826 processor can be integrated on request. The high-performance Intel® HD Graphics Gen. 7 is integrated in the CPU. The fast DDR3L 1600 / 1333 SDRAM memory can be expanded to maximum 8 GB.
For different applications, e.g. industrial machine control, in power engineering for controlling wind and solar power plants, for mobile data acquisition, in security systems, in POS/POI systems and as IoT gateway, the modular box IPC offers a number of popular industrial interfaces: 2 x GbE LAN, 1 x PCI Express™ x4 interface with one lane, 4 x serial interfaces, 2 x SATA ports (3 Gb), HD audio, USB 3.0 and 4 x USB 2.0. DVI-D, DisplayPort (DP) V1.2 and VGA graphic connections feature for three independent, high-resolution displays.
The NanoServer® N1-A3 fits into a 204 x 224 x 80 mm industrial housing. The operating temperature range is specified from 0 - 50 °C. The embedded system is supplied via a 12/24 VDC wide-range input or alternatively via an external 100 - 240 VAC power packs (60 W).
For system expansions, there are a free PCI Express™ x4 (one lane) slot for short cards and one internal Mini PCI Express™ x1 slots. The robust industrial housing provides space for one mSATA (SATA III) SSD. Optionally, two 2.5" HDDs/ SSDs can be integrated, in which one drive occupies the PCI Express™ slot.
