Auf dem 4. Windbranchentag Baden-Württemberg des Bundesverbandes Windenergie hob Dr. Werner Dub, Mitglied des Vorstand der MVV Energie, am heutigen Freitag in Stuttgart hervor, dass es sich dabei "um eine erprobte und wirtschaftlich günstige erneuerbare Technologie handelt, bei der Deutschland inzwischen seine Spitzenstellung als Europas größter Windmarkt einnimmt".
Gleichzeitig verfüge Deutschland insgesamt und insbesondere Süddeutschland in Zukunft noch über ein großes Ausbaupotenzial.
Dr. Dub: "Ein Ausbau im Süden könnte die Winderzeugung in Deutschland regional ausgewogener verstetigen und hätte damit auch positive Effekte auf das gesamte Energiesystem."
Zu einem erfolgreichen Windausbau gehört nach Ansicht des MVVVorstandsmitglieds auch die Entwicklung innovativer Beteiligungsmodelle, wie kommunale und regionale Partnerschaften und bürgerschaftliche Beteiligungen. Partizipation steigere die Akzeptanz einer dezentralen Energiewirtschaft. Dies sei zugleich eine wichtige Voraussetzung zur erfolgreichen Umsetzung der Energiewende.
