UVtex blockout 290 is completely lightproof. This light-blocking property completely prevents any negative or undesirable light effects. UVtex blockout 290 is therefore mainly suitable for interior use as a display, banner or large poster at trade fairs for example. The large-format textile is also ideal for use as a stage backdrop in the theatre.
As UVtex blockout 290 can be digitally printed on both sides - with different motifs on each side - there is no need for a second printing medium in the same size if free hanging banners are required. For example, you can have "Welcome" or "Entrance" printed on the front and "Goodbye" or "Exit" printed on the back. The textile can also be easily inserted into clamping systems with welt tracks.
UVtex artist premium heavy is a light-transmissive (translucent) textile, especially suitable for use in light boxes (also with clamping frames and welt tracks). It is also ideal for textile construction. A good example of a digitally printed large-format textile which can be lit from behind is in use by the world-famous mattress manufacturer Tempur with its shop-in-shop concept (see photo). In large furniture stores and specialist bed retailers, such a digitally printable XXL medium is stretched over a framework and this is then uniformly backlit.
"The Fespa in Barcelona will see the launch of our new brand UVtex," announced Myriam Kapsa, Product Manager at Neschen in Bückeburg, who is looking forward to the trade fair. "The textiles especially for XXL UV printing reflect our expertise in this area. But our new UVtex products can also be used with latex ink digital printers."
Although Neschen developed both textiles specially for UV curing inks, outstanding printing results are also achieved with latex inks. As an HP Certified Development Partner, Neschen made sure well in advance that the UVtex media could be printed with the LX610 ink system. They are therefore specifically suitable for such inks and due to their high degree of whiteness, they deliver the highest brilliance imaginable - a deep black and bright, intensive, high-contrast colours. Just like UV cured inks, the pictures have a razor-sharp definition and glow on the materials.
Theatre, stage, exhibition stand - raising the curtain for the XXL textiles by Neschen
The UV textiles UVtex blockout 290 and UVtex artist premium heavy are the new highlights at Neschen's exhibition stand at the Fespa 2012 in Barcelona. The Bückeburg coating specialist will be showing them in Hall 3/M80 from 21 to 24 February. The display will also focus on the two self-adhesive digital print media "solvoprint easy dot 100" and "solvoprint event fleece CA adh". In addition, the comprehensive range of display and protective films from the product line, Display Graphic Solutions DGS, will be on show.
