PFAFF on TEXPROCESS 2011

(PresseBox) (Kaiserslautern, )
At the TEXPROCESS Trade Fair, held in Frankfurt from May 24. - 27, PFAFF INDUSTRIAL from Kaiserslautern / Germany, presents innovative sewing and welding solutions for the various sectors of traditional clothing, denim, function, safety wear, casual wear as well as technical textiles. About 25 exhibits will be presented in Hall 5.1, No. B30.

One of the highlights on the Trade Fair will be the new freely programmable CNC-controlled Lockstitch Bartack Machine, PFAFF 3375 with a sewing area of 60 x 100 mm. Based on the POWERLINE design, with a cylinder bed and a CB-shuttle the machine guarantees best stitch quality and high flexibility in a variety of applications. The PFAFF 3375 is offered with or without a separately driven sewing frame. Application areas are standard lockstitch bartack applications, freely programmable sewing patterns, as well as freely programmable sewing formats for a variety of buttons. The logically structured touch control panel P1 (option) allows sewing programs and stitch corrections to be created directly at the machine and stored on a SD memory card. With the optional PSP system (PFAFF STITCH PROGRAM) all imaginable stitch patterns can be created.

With the new PFAFF 3834 a sleeve setting machine in the POWERLINE design will be shown. The new PFAFF 3834 features a larger arm space, a new lubrication system and an easier service concept. A motor driven tension adjustment controls the thread tension. The well-proven transport system of the predecessor, with its optimal view of the work piece and sewing area, has been retained. The very small contact point between the feeding wheels improves the handling, especially at narrow curves. The large angle of the feeding wheel, compensating cross seams and large amounts of fullness, eliminate the need of a lifting motion. The fullness is worked-in close to the needle area and will be directly fixed by the needle. Flat seams can also be sewn - where required - even on critical materials.

In the field of "Drive Technology" PFAFF introduces a new generation of sewing drives. The new Servo Drives, which are manufactured in Germany and subject to strict quality control, provide a higher functional range. These motors stand out due to their low use of energy and are manufactured WITHOUT lead, cadmium, mercury etc, making them compliant with RoHS requirements and are therefore environmentally friendly. The detachable network connection and the wider range of line voltage, introduced with this new motor series, together make for easier handling and complete the profile of this new drive generation.
