PFEIFER Structures will concentrate on those markets that can be served directly from the company's own production facilities in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. "By focusing on our core markets, we are reducing complexity and getting closer to our customers in the remaining markets," explains Carlos Carranza, CEO of PFEIFER Structures.
In this context, the previous US subsidiary PFEIFER Structures America LLC was sold and is now part of Enclos Corp and will operate in the American market as Enclos Tensile Structures. "With Enclos we have found a strong partner in the field of lightweight architecture as a suitable buyer," Carranza emphasizes and adds, "We will continue to work closely with our former colleagues as a supplier and strategic partner for the US market."
Cables, tension rod systems, membranes and foils
The PFEIFER Structures portfolio continues to include the products made in the company's own production facilities: Cables, tension rod systems, membranes and foils, as well as drive and control technology.
The lightweight structures made by PFEIFER can also be combined with wood, glass and aluminum elements to develop sustainable solutions with the customers. This enables savings, can reduce the CO2 footprint, as well as enhance the sustainability certifications of the projects.
Furthermore, PFEIFER Structures is also active in the field of renovation and refurbishment with a focus on the projects' life cycle from manufacturing and processing to disposal and reuse.
Smart and sustainable solutions
"Developing and implementing an intelligent solution in cooperation with our customers that is light, resource-efficient, durable, and low-maintenance is a challenge that we are happy to face," underlines Christian Königbauer, Sales Manager at PFEIFER Structures.
As a pioneer in the project business of lightweight structures, PFEIFER has been active for more than 50 years. A fascination that has not weakened since the construction of the Munich Olympic Stadium. The drivers for this passion are the product expertise and the high technical standards of the company with headquarters in Memmingen.
