Mit dem Verkauf trennt sich primacom von Beständen an einer vom primacom-Netz isolierten Infrastruktur und fokussiert sich weiter auf seine Kerngebiete in den Neuen Bundesländern. Die überwiegende Mehrzahl der rund eine Millionen Haushalte, die von primacom mit Fernsehsignalen versorgt werden, liegen im Osten Deutschlands. primacom bietet dort neben analogem und digitalem Fernsehen auch Telefonanschlüsse und schnelle Internet-Zugänge (bis zu 120 Mbit/s) an.
