World premiere: ProMik presents ICTP2000 fully automatic flash/IC multifunctional tester at productronica 2009

(PresseBox) (Nürnberg, )
With its ICTP2000 system ProMik, Nuremberg, Germany, launches a new fully automatic flash/IC testing station, which is both suited for stand-alone offline operation and for the seamless embedding in SMT production lines. The testing station measures only 71cm×83cm×169cm (l×w×h). With its handling system it can perform three different operations on PCBs in parallel—in-circuit-tests, flash programming and functional tests. Low OPEX and fast reconfiguration cycles for feeding varying PCBs are features recommending the ICTP2000 especially for flexibly designed production processes. The ICTP2000’s throughput has been designed for medium to high production volumes. Its simplified material handling promotes lean manufacturing concepts. With this new station ProMik primarily addresses EMS companies and automobile industry suppliers, but also companies which are in need of a scalable multifunctional PCB testing station and appreciate the benefits of a one-stop contact for all features.

For programming flash memories the new testing station employs ProMik‘s MSP2000NET programming system, which has proved its worth among automobile suppliers all over the world, can program two targets simultaneously and be extended with further modules. The system programs microcontrollers, CPLDs as well as high-density NOR/NAND flash memories and also offers connectivity for FlexRay, CAN and LIN while its I/Os support a number of different data formats (BDM, JTAG, SPI, SCI, I2C). The ICTP2000 mainframe houses the 19” rack version of the programming system which accepts up to MSP2000 modules. ProMik’s FlashTASK™ software ensures simple operation of the flash/IC testing station as well as software connectivity to the MES system and traceability software.
